1 4522 2006 In response to increasing demand, companies which offer fractional ownership of private jets are adding restrictions to their popular lower-end programs. NetJets required those who wanted to use Marquis Jet Cards which allot users a set amount of hours of private flying to purchase their cards by Sept. 30 in order to use them for Thanksgiving.
2 6211 2003 Charles Schwab's OneSource program will begin requiring a 0.4 percent of assets as a fee paid by the mutual fund. To participate in the program, mutual funds must generate a minimum amount of fees per month; the fund must cover the rest if those fees aren't met by investments. This excludes some smaller firms from participating.
3 7375 2003 New customers are important for FactSet since they pay $60,000 a year for the first two workstations. Each added station costs only $6,000. FactSet also collects access fees from customers depending on the number and kind of products they use. The company gets top-line growth from new, higher-end products. The product upgrade gets tied into the base subscription which was raised to $6,000 a year, up from $3,600.
